Lesson 1: Change fonts into outlines

Today I learnt a valuable lesson I would like to share with you all, change your fonts into outlines so that the supplier can print the designs correctly.

I was excited to see an email from the supplier expecting it to say they have started the printing process and the samples should be ready in 10 days. Imagine my disappointment when I opened the email to see that they could not see the font I had used! I could not believe that I had not changed all the fonts into outlines, that was a rookie mistake. I spent nearly all my free time tonight editing the cards so they are all outlined and ready for printing. Just when I thought I was done with the designs I was wrong! So if you are reading this and working on designs I would recommend that you keep two versions of each file. One with the the text still kept as a font so you can edit them at a later date if you need too. The second file will be the ones where the font is changed into an outline.
